It consists of fuzzy gold-colored tips and black tea that have been hand-fashioned into uniformly sized rings. Earthy to the point of being almost vigorously assertive, this Premium Yunnan Gold teas have exquisite smooth and malty aroma. The golden red infusion yields a malty sweetness (note: maltiness is enhanced by sun withering), with notes of maple syrup and brown sugar that wins you over with their charm.
Yunnan black teas come from Yunnan Province where the famous Puerh tea production area is. This tea was nearly forgotten by our tea makers in Yunnan province in the recent years, due to the phenomenal popularity of Puerh tea and all the resources were heavily focus on making Puerh tea. We are glad to see this tea to make a great comeback recently as the overly production of Puerh tea. |
