Dragon Pearl Jasmine is a haute quality jasmine scented tea, in which jasmine flowers subtly infuse a tippy green tea full of character and plenty of prized tips or buds. It is a very popular tea and it represents the finest in Chinese handmade tea traditions. The pearls contain a delicious floral aroma and sublime sweet flavor.

This tea is made in northern Fujian Province. It is harvested in early spring, when its large white tips are flush with flavor compounds that the plant has stored over the winter. The leaves are fixed green, then dried and stored until around June, when fragrant tiny jasmine flowers bloom. With the essence of the jasmine flowers captured in the tightly rolled tea buds, the minimal surface are of the pearls guarantees that they are able to hold their scent well. Fun to watch unfurl and delicious to drink. Jasmine Dragon Pearls captivate the tea enthusiast as the aroma wafts up from the cup. The result is an intense and persistent jasmine aroma over a base tea that is both sweet and smooth. While pearl jasmine teas have become quite popular and are readily available, we have yet to come across one as delicious, balanced and aromatic as this one.
