Enticing, flavorful and delicious came to mind as we tasted this Tieguanyin King. Bright, clean, fresh and orchid-like are the classic flavors of this finest harvest and high-grade, prized Tieguanyin.
Fresh green in coloration and indicative of the care applied in handling, we hope it will intoxicate the drinker (hence the name) with its sublime aroma and nuanced and lingering tastes. Its liquor is rich and will caress the tongue with nectar tastes. Once fully opened, the rolled leaves are broad and long with delicate serrated edges. Given the size and the arduous processing that the leaves go through, the first steep is often noted for its aroma. In the second steep, the leaves have begun to release more of their treasured tastes and this will continue for a number of steeps. Note that the very pleasant taste of this tea will linger long after drinking. This is a rare and high-grade Tieguanyin, much prized in China, and we are proud to offer it to you.
