Our Tianxin Tieguanyin comes from a high elevation garden on Anxi Mountain in southern Fujian. It was hand-gathered in mid-November 2016 from a tea garden only a couple hundred meters below peak. Tea gathering begins in the gardens at the highest elevation and makes its way down, ahead of the plummeting temperatures as winter approaches.
This tea has an elegant floral character with an undercurrent of creamier mouthfeel and sweet floral lilac notes that is characteristic of winter crop Tieguanyin. |
